The term tui na (pronounced "twee naw"), which literally means "pinch and pull," refers to a wide range of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapeutic massage and body work. Tui na is not generally used for pleasure and relaxation, but rather as a treatment to address specific patterns of disharmony.
I have been seeing Peter for regularly for several years now and it has changed my life. I suffered for years from planter fasciitis and with regular acupuncture treatments I am feeling much better. He also treats my anxiety, sciatica and sinus issues. I highly recommend Peter to anyone interested in acupuncture.
Peter Wu is wonderful! He treated me right away after calling with extreme lower back pain. After the first treatment I was so much better. I also got a great medical massage that helped my neck and back pain. I encouraged my husband to go to Dr. Wu and after the first treatment he didn’t feel the pain in his hips anymore and cancelled the cortisone shots he was supposed to get the following week! The staff is so friendly, we both highly recommend this office!
I was never a believer until I met Peter Wu! He has helped me tremendously with several different issues. I now have hope and recommend him to everyone I know. His staff is great as well, very pleasant and caring. I would highly recommend anyone thinking about acupuncture to visit Peter at Intrinsic Wellness! You will be glad you did!
I cannot begin to express how wonderful my experiences with Intrinsic Wellness, specifically with Dr. Peter Wu, have been! First, Dr. Peter sat and went over what I was hoping to obtain from acupuncture. He was patient, spending ample time with me to understand what ailed me while answering the many questions I had. I was new to acupuncture but with a backache that was plaguing me on a daily basis, I was willing to try anything. Nothing had worked for me at all- until I tried acupuncture!
